Hyde Park Police Helping Needy Families Over Holiday Season

HYDE PARK, N.Y. -- Hyde Park Police are doing what they can to help those in need over the holidays.

The police kicked off the holiday season by joining other first responders at Target in Poughkeepsie for their Heroes and Helpers event, where local first responders help kids shop for things they need for the holidays.

Last week, the police announced they have sponsored some local families for Christmas and will be working to distribute presents soon.
